As soon as initng loads on boot, it immediately goes into a segfault
saying error 6, printing that line over and over.

I'm using Gentoo, with the following in make.conf.

INITNG_PLUGINS="also bash_launcher chdir chroot conflict cpout critical
ctrlaltdel daemon_clean debug_commands envparser find fmon fstat history
idleprobe initctl interactive iparser last limit lockfile logfile netdev

This is probably because some critical service failed, we really need to
change the way that works for 0.7.

Can you provide details on what services are on your runlevels and
virtuals?
